The Allen & Heath CQ18T is a compact digital mixer that can be used for various live sound applications due to its versatility. The mixer can be operated using the touchscreen, physical controls, or a wired or wireless network connection. Additionally, it offers tools such as Feedback Assistant and Gain Assistant. The Feedback Assistant has two modes – fixed and live. In the fixed mode, you can easily identify and eliminate feedback frequencies during show set-up. The live mode allows continuous monitoring of all outputs, giving you control over frequencies before they become problematic. The Gain Assistant sets levels for the selected channels, and monitors these during performance, to ensure no unwanted surprises.

Control on the go!

Offering two apps, CQ MixPad and CQ4You, the CQ range allows the user to mix on the fly, and also allows performers to control their monitor mix. The CQ MixPad allows for wireless mobile control of the mixer. This gives the engineer freedom to walk around the stage/room and tailor the sound. Up to two devices can be connected to the same CQ desk, offering independent controls to both users. The CQ4You allows performers to have full control of their monitor mix, from their smartphone or tablet, allowing the engineer to focus on the sound being projected across the venue. With the integrated Automatic Mic Mixer (AMM), background noise is effortlessly minimized and speech clarity is enhanced in various applications, including conferences, podcasts, debates, and small-scale theatre productions. This feature is available on all input channels, making it an ideal choice for portable mixing needs.
